Slate stuff

Not much blogging lately, but I hope to remedy that. Big news for this month: My Mali pieces go live on Slate this week, at http://slate.msn.com/id/2123710/entry/2123711/

Laura and I got a quick web redesign up on my main site, and I launched a little one for the book as well.

Looking forward next month to Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Must get tickets and reservations in order soon.

And ... birthday! Lots of presents, love and champagne with my posse. I'm a lucky girl.
